2013 Gould's Turkey Hunt with Colburn and Scott Outfitters

Darr and I had a great hunt and adventure this weekend in Sonora, Mexico for Gould's turkeys.  Our hunter, Bill Wohlers, from Iowa harvested two beautiful Gould's and completed his Royal Slam. The birds were not quite completely fired up but both of these birds came in to our calls.  The Gould's are notorious for their white band on their tail feathers.  I don't think there is another turkey that compares in beauty.  We look forward to more Gould's adventures in a couple of weeks.  Congrats to Bill on his Royal Slam!
