Coues deer scouting trip

I joined Darr on my first scouting trip for the 2008 Coues deer season. It is beautiful to see the countryside covered in green grass and to see the flowers in bloom. We managed to see some bucks and we ran in to a couple of interesting Arizona creatures. First, a Arizona Black Rattlesnake and then a nice Gila Monster. With the grass so high the deer were a bit hard to spot but we managed to turn a dozen bucks or so with the help of the new Kowa Highlander Binoculars that we bought from The Outdoorsmans in Phoenix, http://www.outdoorsmans.com/. The clarity of the 32X80's is absolutely outstanding. They will definitely make the rotation in my arsenal of optics while serching for the mighty Coues deer. Thanks to Floyd and Terry for the recommendation on the new optics!
