2016 Arizona Governor's Goulds Turkey Hunt

I had a great time with Don and Ginger Whitaker hunting Gould's turkey in Southern Arizona.  Arizona is home to some of the prettiest terrain that our great country has to offer!  All of the money from the auction Gould's tag go directly towards helping turkeys across Arizona.  Here is the video of Don's hunt in which he completes his Royal Slam with a bow and arrow on a beautiful Gould's turkey.  I was so honored to be chosen to guide Don on his hunt!

Bob and Carole's Goulds Turkey Hunt

Preston and Donald's Gould's Turkey Hunt

Arizona Auction Gould's Turkey Hunt with Casey Brooks

I had the fortune of helping my good friend, Casey Brooks, on his Arizona Auction Gould's Turkey Hunt for 2015.  We had a great hunt and many laughs were shared.  Casey harvested a really nice Gould's turkey that came strutting into the Dave Smith Decoys with his Hoyt bow at a distance of about 12 yards.  Casey is one of the most distinguished bowhunters in the world with over 63 archery bull elk and a Archery North American Super Slam under his belt.  We recorded a podcast episode for the Jay Scott Outdoors Western Big Game Hunting and Fishing Podcast on archery elk hunting that will be airing soon.  Check out the video below of Casey's awesome hunt.  Cabelas Spring Thunder will be featuring the hunt in its entirety on this Monday's episode.
