Goulds Turkey Hunting with Colburn and Scott Outfitters
New for Spring 2011, Colburn and Scott Outfitters announces a spring Gould's Turkey hunt on a ranch in Sonora, Mexico. The hunt will be a 3 day with a travel day on each side for (2) birds. Darr and I saw over 100 Goulds gobblers in one trip this fall and heard them gobbling almost everyday. We can't imagine how many birds are really on this ranch. The turkey habitat is outstanding and should be a fantastic trip. For details email us at js43560@cox.net or darrcolburn@aol.com

Lowell's Coues Buck
Lowell harvested his first Coues deer and continued to hunt for a giant on his second tag. Although we did not find any giant bucks we had a great time hunting in Mexico. Troy was able to harvest the big bull Buffalo that he was after. We enjoyed good times, good people, good country and good hunting!

Last cow of the 2010 season
Maybe it's the first cow of the 2011 season. Either way, I was happy to be helping on an elk hunt. Although I wasn't able to participate in the hunt, I did show up in time to help skin and pack out this beautiful young cow. Jimmy made a fine heart shot at over 300 yards. This cow will eat great this winter and summer, and I'm fortunate to have been given a few nice chunks of meat as a thank you. We made quick work of the cow using our Havalon knives and my Outdoorsman's pack carried a ham and shoulder with ease. Living off the land and sharing experiences with good friends are reasons why I'm an elk hunter. Nice work Jimmy!
