We hiked 6.5 miles and gained 2720 feet of elevation to Gore Lake in the Eagle Nest Wilderness. It was a 13 mile roundtrip. We heard that someone had seen a mountain goat up there so we packed a lunch in the Outdoorsmans Backpack and off we went. After a little over four hours of hiking we reached the lake at 10,400 feet and Jeanne immediately spotted the goat up on a rock. Check out the video and pics!
